On behalf of the Milken Institute, Center for Financial Markets I recently interviewed five practitioners, who each took different paths to become successful in banking, economic development, bond insurance underwriting, national association leadership and regulatory education. To give early and mid-career professionals some insight into the many and varied paths in public finance, please enjoy these “Stories from the Field”. Each interviewee also gave a few favorite reading selections. Feel free to share with colleagues and others you think might find these interviews of interest. There’s a video clip and a summary write-up for each one.
There’s also a link to the Milken Institute Public Finance Program, where you can view sessions from the recent 2023, Public Finance Forum, held last week in Washington, DC.
